Our beautiful natural greens are located right in the heart of Mt Albert on Allendale Road.
Come and enjoy our friendly relaxed environment in our spacious fully serviced club rooms. In between games you can play pool, darts or table tennis and enjoy some refreshments from our members bar.
The Mount Albert Bowling Club is a place to bowl and a place to belong. We have membership options to suit everyone, whether you are a competitive bowler, social bowler, accessibility needs bowler, or just prefer a casual roll up.
Our clubrooms and greens are available to hire for private functions for up to 90 people.

AGM NOTICE 2025
The AGM will be held on Saturday 19th July 4pm - 5pm, this is a members only event for constitutional requirements. (all member types welcome, playing & social members can vote & speak but no proxies allowed, casual members can attend but not vote, they can only speak on invitation of the Chair.
Any resolutions or items for General Business must be submitted in writing by members no later than 5th July 4pm to Secretary@mabowls.co.nz
The club is open to all for happy hour from 5pm and Prizegiving at 6pm all non-member visitors are welcome to attend from 5pm onwards.

Play The Way You Want
If you are a full playing bowler, join a team of bowlers (including national champs) who take the game as seriously as you do.
Enhance your game through a regular programme of club and centre tournaments, and impromptu rollups with bowlers who share your passion for the sport.
Or if you are a social bowler, be part of our fun, welcoming and local club where you can relax with friends and family. Bowls is a truly inclusive sport that can be enjoyed regardless of your age, skills or fitness levels, and there are always members on hand to give you helpful tips if you need them.
Hire The Mount Albert Bowling Club
Our club facilities are available to hire for private functions. We can host up to 90 guests in our clubrooms and on our greens. Whether you are organising a corporate function, Christmas or birthday party or team building exercise, talk to us about your plans.
If you hire our venue, your group will enjoy the full use of the club’s lounge, bowling greens, bar and catering facilities.
Our rates are reasonable and designed to support local businesses. The club can provide sets of bowls, and help organise games for your guests.
Groups of 10 or more may book space on the bowling greens in daylight hours during the season. Your booking gives you access to our bar facilities.
